Next Steps
Everyone has a next step.
Souls looking for truth of who Jesus really is, new believers, followers who have been raised in the faith, the occasional worshipper to the regular in attendance, those who have never been involved outside of worship, and even those in leadership. We all have a next step to take.
The New Testament truth teaches loving one another and action. Jesus told his disciples to, “follow me,” and then sent them out in pairs to teach, heal, and spread the word that the Kingdom of Heaven was near.
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:36-40 (NKJV)
A portion of being a follower of Jesus is being involved in His kingdom. There are 168 hours in a week. If we come together as the church every scheduled time, it’s only 4 hours a week. Four.
What are you doing with the remaining 164 hours?
Involvement is vital in loving each other and building bonds as a church family, strengthening our personal relationships with God, and serving others outside the faith who God has called worthy of being cared for and loved, as we care for ourselves.

Jesus is bigger than any half truth of who anyone says He is. It has been approximately 2000 years since He died on the cross and came back to life. Changing everything.
